`Our very first Stafford'
Megan was `rescued' from our local animal sanctuary `All Creatures Great and Small' in Cwmbran in March 2000.
Megan was in the sanctuary for six months and was suffering with depression.
We loved Meg from the moment that we saw her and as soon as she came home with us her depression disappeared.
Unfortunately we do not know anything about Meg's background but we do not think that she was mistreated, it is a mystery how such a lovely dog could end up in rescue.
Although Meg was a very loving dog she was quite boisterous and not very obedient. Meg and I joined dog training classes where she excelled at obedience and has passed her Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Obedience Awards - Bronze, Silver and Gold.
